Advocacy service

Pathfinders provides peer-led advocacy and support for disabled people facing barriers in areas such as social care, healthcare, housing, equipment, benefits, education and independent living. Our advocacy is rooted in lived experience, helping people navigate complex systems, understand their rights and access the support they need. Alongside supporting individuals, we use the insight gained through advocacy to identify wider systemic issues and inform our research, campaigning and systems-change work.
PA & Employer Training
Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance has designed a training programme for carers and personal assistants. This is aimed at people who work with, or want to work with, people with neuromuscular conditions. However, many of the modules will be suitable for carers and personal assistants working with people with other conditions.
