Benjamin is a freelance research officer, supporting the research team for Pathfinders.

He lives at home in Surrey and is supported by PAs to live independently, currently pursuing his MSc in Sustainable Development at SOAS. He has a First Class Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham and has studied Science Communication at the University of Sheffield. He has experience working in healthcare communications at Intent Health and is determined to amplify the voices of those living with Duchenne and other neuromuscular conditions. 

Benjamin has worked with different charities supporting the Duchenne community, including Duchenne UK and Action Duchenne, contributing to the Duchenne Care UK Educational and Psychosocial working groups and other steering groups.

He lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and outside of work enjoys Music, sports and getting out in nature. Other interests include films, exhibitions and science. He is also an active member of his church.
