Pathfinders is currently recruiting for the following roles:

Social Media & Digital Creation Associate and Fundraising & Grant Application Associate

Are you aged 18-24 and currently on Universal Credit? If so, we are currently recruiting a Social Media and Digital Creation Associate, and a Fundraising and Grant Application Associate to join the Pathfinders team for six months. 

We’ve teamed up with a programme called Kickstart to create two jobs to support young people into work. Whether you’re a social media native, or want a career in the charity sector, these two jobs offer an incredible opportunity to join the team, build your skills, and enter the world of work in a supportive manner, with help from Pathfinders and from Kickstart Academy.

These jobs are only open to people currently aged 18-24 and on Universal Credit due to funding restrictions

Social Media & Digital Creation Associate

25 hours per week, flexible, paid at National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage

As Social Media & Digital Creation Associate, you would work closely with the whole team, developing digital content that connects us with our members and grows the Pathfinders network.

This is a wide-ranging role with lots of opportunity to develop – you’ll be crafting content for our social media, website and blog, creating publicity for our events and programmes and engaging with our members 1 on 1. You’ll also have the opportunity to help with our online events by developing questions, moderating spaces and encouraging membership participation.

No previous experience is required – we’re looking for someone who is creative, confident, and who has their finger on the pulse.

Fundraising & Grant Application Associate

25 hours per week, flexible, paid at National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage

As Fundraising and Grant Application Associate, your role would be to bring money into the organisation through fundraising and grant applications, ensuring we can fund our vital work with the Neuromuscular Community. 

This is a wide ranging role with lots of opportunity to develop – you’ll be drafting applications, implementing fundraising strategies, engaging with our community and planning online fundraising challenges and events. 

No previous experience is required – we’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and can bring their own initiative to the team.

Volunteering

There are a range of volunteering roles available within Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance. Whether you are interested in policy development, social media, websites, or campaigning, there is a place for you.

As a user led organisation we are passionate about involving our members as volunteers. Social Media Ambassadors

Pathfinders is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to contribute to our social media. The role involves using web blogs plus a variety of social media and similar tools to create regular content, respond to conversations, build a sense of community between members and develop a strong network of relationships between Pathfinders, public, private and charitable organisations. This role can be done from home.

Pathfinders Representatives

Volunteer to help us with individual campaigns, such as our work on developing consistent standards of care for adults. This may involve blogging or tweeting about a campaign, or attending important meetings to represent adults with neuromuscular disorders.

Volunteer Researchers/Authors

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us compile articles and blogs on a range of key daily living topics. You will be required to research topics using internet resources, clinical advice and discussions with our members and compile these into information resources.
