Project Lead (developing Personal Assistance and Neuromuscular Conditions: A training programme for PAs)

We are currently recruiting for a confident, experienced, and meticulously organised Project Lead to take charge of an exciting new project developing a training course in neuromuscular conditions for people working as carers or personal assistants (PAs) of people with neuromuscular conditions.

Working hours: Part Time – 24 hours a week for 18 weeks (2nd Aug – 19th Dec, followed by 18 hours a week for 15 weeks (20th Dec – 3rd April)

Salary: £29,250 p.a. (pro-rata). Pro-rata salaries are calculated on the basis of a 37.5 hour per week full-time post.

Base: Homeworking

Deadline: Application deadline is Friday 23rd July at 12pm. Interviews will be conducted on Wednesday 28th July between 11am-5pm.

Executive Assistant to CEO

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to play a key role in supporting the charity through a period of growth and transformation. The Executive Assistant will manage key governance, reporting and administrative tasks to enable the CEOs to focus on strategic development and leadership.

Job Type: 6-month contract (it is expected the post will be funded beyond this; however this is dependent on charity funding)

Working hours: Part Time – 16 hours per week.

Salary: £29,250 p.a. (pro-rata). Pro-rata salaries are calculated on the basis of a 37.5 hour per week full-time post.

Base: Homeworking

Volunteering

There are a range of volunteering roles available within Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance. Whether you are interested in policy development, social media, websites, or campaigning, there is a place for you.

As a user led organisation we are passionate about involving our members as volunteers. If you have any skills, interests, hobbies, or campaigns that you want to share with Pathfinders, please contact us via telephone on 01273 252555, via email at info@pathfindersalliance.org.uk, or via our social media channels.

Social Media Ambassadors

Pathfinders is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to contribute to our social media. The role involves using web blogs plus a variety of social media and similar tools to create regular content, respond to conversations, build a sense of community between members and develop a strong network of relationships between Pathfinders, public, private and charitable organisations. This role can be done from home.

Pathfinders Representatives

Volunteer to help us with individual campaigns, such as our work on developing consistent standards of care for adults. This may involve blogging or tweeting about a campaign, or attending important meetings to represent adults with neuromuscular disorders.

Volunteer Researchers/Authors

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us compile articles and blogs on a range of key daily living topics. You will be required to research topics using internet resources, clinical advice and discussions with our members and compile these into information resources.
